About.
“I didn’t reinvent myself at forty.
I simply stopped hiding the parts that were already alive.”
Hey there, I’m Charlotte.
I am a French-American writer and model exploring the art of becoming.
I’m 40 & Unfolding
For years, I lived by quiet expectations — of who I should be, what I should achieve, how I should appear. But somewhere between motherhood, womanhood, and my own quiet rebellion, I began to unfold. 40 & Unfolding was born from that shift — from a desire to live awake, to inhabit my body with tenderness, and to create from a place of truth rather than performance.
My Creative World
Today, I create through three languages:
Letters to Myself — where I write to myself and others about self-intimacy, sensuality, and the slow art of becoming.
Gallery — where I explore embodiment and the gaze — how emotion, light, and presence translate through image.
Rituals — where I share the practices that anchor me: beauty, movement, nourishment, and small acts of devotion.
Each expression feeds the other. Together, they form the rhythm of my unfolding — the way I make sense of who I am and who I’m still becoming.
My Philosophy.
I believe a woman’s life is a work of art — not something to perfect, but something to live inside. At forty, I learned that wholeness is not found in arrival, but in presence — in the way we breathe, love, create, and allow ourselves to be seen. This space is my celebration of that truth. It’s a love letter — to myself, to womanhood, and to the beauty of being fully, unapologetically alive.
